Terms of Service
Version 2026-10-13Summary (not part of the Terms): accounts are for players 13 and older; keep your conduct and your codename clean or we may suspend or close your account; you get a licence to play, not ownership; Paddle sells everything we sell; refunds are limited to the first request within 14 days; disputes go to Nevada courts after you write to us first. The numbered sections below are the agreement.
1. AGREEMENT
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Remix Labs LLC, a Nevada limited liability company ("Remix Labs", "we", "us"), which operates boardgame.plus and the games, sites and services offered on or through it (the "Service"). By creating an account, signing in, buying anything, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf, and you may not make any purchase without their permission. You confirm that the information you give us, including your age, is true. We may close any account we reasonably believe belongs to someone under 13, and if we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we delete it and the information it holds. The games can be played without an account. A parent or guardian can ask what we hold about their teen, ask us to close the account, or tell us about a purchase they did not allow, at support@boardgame.plus.
3. YOUR ACCOUNT
Your account is personal to you. You may not share, sell, transfer or let anyone else use it, and you may hold only one account. You sign in with a code sent to your email or with Google, so you are responsible for keeping access to your email and Google account secure, and for all activity on your account. Tell us at once at support@boardgame.plus if you believe someone else has used your account.
4. CODENAMES AND WHAT PLAYERS SHARE
Your codename is public and is shown to other players. It must be 3 to 16 letters or numbers. It may not include your real name, school, age, address or other personal information, and may not be offensive, hateful, sexual, threatening, misleading, or impersonate any person, brand or member of our team. The same rules apply to any name you type in a game, such as a player name in party mode or an online room, which is shown on screen to the other players in that game. Berlin has table talk ("The Wall"): everyone in an online game can send ready-made lines, and typing your own words works only in a private game with someone you invited. We mask common swear words, and either player can mute the other. Our other games have no chat. Berlin's voice "Radio" is switched off; if we switch on voice or add chat to another game, we will update these Terms first. We may refuse, change or remove any codename or name at our discretion.
You keep any rights you have in what you type. You give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, show, copy and remove it, only as needed to run, moderate and improve the Service.
5. COMMUNITY RULES
You agree not to, and not to help anyone else to:
- bully, harass, threaten, stalk, demean or intimidate any player, including through codenames, names, messages, chat, voice or any other feature a game offers;
- post or share hateful, discriminatory, sexual, violent or otherwise harmful content, or encourage self-harm;
- share anyone's personal information, including your own, or try to contact a player you don't know outside the Service;
- seek a romantic or sexual relationship with another player, or try to groom or exploit anyone;
- publicly accuse another player of cheating (report it to us instead);
- impersonate any person, or misrepresent your age or identity;
- cheat, use bots, scripts, macros or modified clients, exploit bugs or errors, or play in a way the game was not designed to be played;
- copy, scrape, reverse engineer, decompile, or disrupt, overload or attack the Service, its servers or other players' games;
- try to access accounts, data or parts of the Service you are not allowed to access;
- use the Service for any commercial purpose other than streaming and videos under section 9, or for anything unlawful; or
- create another account to get around a suspension or closure.
6. REPORTING
If a player bullies, harasses or threatens you or anyone else, or breaks these rules, report it to support@boardgame.plus with their codename, the game, and when it happened. We review every report. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
7. SUSPENSION AND DEACTIVATION
If we believe you have broken these Terms, put any player at risk, or exposed us to legal or security risk, we may, at our discretion and without prior notice where the law allows: remove or change your codename; issue a warning; remove you from a game; suspend your account for a period of time; or permanently deactivate your account. A deactivated account loses access to every game, licence and pass on it, and no refund is due for anything lost because of a suspension or deactivation for breaking these Terms. We may keep information about the account and the behaviour reported, and share it where the law requires or to protect someone's safety. We report any sexual exploitation of a child to the appropriate authorities. If you think we got it wrong, write to support@boardgame.plus within 30 days and we will review the decision.
8. LICENCE AND OWNERSHIP
When you buy a game, unlock one with a box code, or hold an active All You Can Play Pass, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to play that game on the Service for your own non-commercial use, for as long as these Terms allow. You do not own a copy of any game. The Service, its games, artwork, music, text, software and our names and logos belong to Remix Labs or its licensors, and all rights not expressly granted to you are reserved. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.
9. STREAMING AND VIDEOS
You may stream, record and share videos and screenshots of our games, including on channels that earn money, as long as you do not suggest we endorse you, do not charge anyone to play our games with you, and follow these Terms. We may withdraw this permission from anyone at any time.
10. THE ALL YOU CAN PLAY PASS
- The pass is a monthly subscription that renews automatically each month, and you are charged each month, until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time on your account page (Billing) or with the link in your receipt. Cancelling stops future charges; the pass then ends at the end of the month you have paid for.
- We may change which games the pass includes. Before any change to the price, we will email you no less than 7 and no more than 30 days before it takes effect, with how to cancel, so you can cancel first.
- If a pass payment is charged back, the pass ends at once and the account may be suspended until the matter is settled.
11. PURCHASES
All purchases are sold by Paddle ("Paddle"), our authorised reseller and merchant of record: Paddle.com Inc. for buyers in the United States, Paddle.com (Canada) Ltd. in Canada, and Paddle.com Market Limited everywhere else. Paddle processes your payment, charges any applicable tax, and issues your receipts, and Paddle's Buyer Terms govern the sale. If Paddle's Buyer Terms and these Terms conflict about a sale, Paddle's Buyer Terms control. Prices are shown before you pay and may change at any time for future purchases.
12. REFUNDS
- All purchases are final, except as stated in this section or required by law.
- You may request a refund within 14 days of a charge, through the link in your Paddle receipt or by emailing support@boardgame.plus. We grant the first refund request for each game or pass on an account; we may refuse repeated requests, requests after buying again what was refunded, and requests from accounts suspended or deactivated for breaking these Terms.
- When a game is refunded, it is removed from your account. When a pass payment is refunded, the pass ends at once.
- A box bought from a shop is refunded by that shop under its own policy.
- Nothing in this section limits any refund or cancellation right you have under the law where you live.
13. BOX CODES
A code printed in a boardgame.plus box unlocks the game it names on the account that redeems it. Each code can be redeemed once, has no cash value, and cannot be transferred after it is redeemed.
14. CLOSING YOUR ACCOUNT
You can delete your account at any time on your account page. Any pass is cancelled first. Games, licences and progress on the account are permanently removed and cannot be restored. Deleting does not refund anything by itself; section 12 still applies to charges within 14 days.
15. CHANGES TO THE SERVICE
We may change, update, suspend or discontinue any game or part of the Service at any time. The Service may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. If we stop offering a game you bought, we will tell you by email first.
16. COPYRIGHT
If you believe something on the Service infringes your copyright, email support@boardgame.plus with what it is, where it appears, your contact details, and a statement that you are the owner or authorised to act for them. We will review it and remove material that infringes.
17. INACTIVE ACCOUNTS
If no one has signed in to an account for 3 years, we may delete it, after emailing the account at least 30 days ahead. We never delete an account this way while it has an active pass or games it bought or unlocked.
18. ACCESSIBILITY
We want every game to be playable by everyone. If something on the Service stops you from playing, email support@boardgame.plus and we will work on it.
19. OTHER SERVICES
Parts of the Service rely on others, such as Google sign-in, Paddle and our hosting providers. Their services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
20. DISCLAIMER
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
21. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Remix Labs and its members, employees and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, progress, profits or goodwill, arising from or related to the Service or these Terms. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose or US$50. Some places do not allow these limits; where that is so, they apply only as far as the law allows.
22. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Remix Labs from any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service. If you are under 18, this applies to your parent or guardian.
23. DISPUTES AND GOVERNING LAW
Before bringing any claim, you agree to email support@boardgame.plus describing it and to give us 30 days to resolve it. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any claim must be brought in small claims court or in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. If you live where the law gives consumers the right to bring claims in their home courts or under their own laws (for example, the EU, the UK or Quebec), those rights are not affected.
24. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may change these Terms. The version date above will change, and every older version stays readable at its own address. We will tell you about material changes by email or when you next sign in. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the new Terms; if you do not, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account.
25. GENERAL
These Terms and the Privacy Notice are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer these Terms; we may transfer them to a successor. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Sections 7, 8, 12 and 20 to 25 survive the end of your account. We may send notices to the email on your account.
